Patric Evera, former Manchester United player and teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo is full of praise for the Portuguese talisman. The French defender came as a guest on ITV punditry panel to give expert opinions on World Cup matches and he went on to talk a lot about Cristiano Ronaldo and he even called him a machine.
Patrice Evra: “Cristiano's a machine. He was playing table tennis and Rio beat him and we were all screaming. Ronaldo was so upset. Then he sent his cousin to buy a table tennis. He trained for two weeks and came back and beat Rio in front of everyone. That’s Cristiano.”
Patrice Evra also went on to talk about how much Cristiano Ronaldo enjoys the pressure more than Lionel Messi. He also said Lionel Messi just gets frustrated when the players around him don't perform whereas but Cristiano loves to take charge when others around him fail to impress.
Evra: “I was really surprised, it was inside footed, normally he doesn’t kick his free-kick like that. Ronaldo is more mature, he reminds of LeBron James. Now he carries his team on his shoulder. I was really pleased with him.” [ITV]
