After England beat Sweden, English fans wrecked an IKEA store, smashed bus stops, damaged buses & vehicles, including an ambulance car, ran over a man and almost ran over a little girl. Is this how you celebrate a victory?
The ambulance vehicle was badly damaged as huge crowds of supporters blocked traffic and climbed on to cars and bus stops in the streets.
An ambulance vehicle in London was badly damaged after several people were pictured standing on top of it while a medic responded to a call nearby.
London Ambulance Service said there was “no excuse” for the vandalism which meant the car was unable to respond to patients after suffering a smashed windscreen and dented bonnet.

Where as Sweden showed their class as both the Swedish Ambassador and Sweden’s official Twitter feed send very dignified congratulations to England. Meanwhile English fans celebrated by thrashing th IKEA store and damaging an Ambulance. Takes the shine off the day.
It is not about conquering a country or humiliating a rival. It is just a football game that was won. It is a glorious sport. Aren’t they listening to their national coach and players? This is the tiny minority that does not know how to win and celebrate gracefully.
