This morning, CDS, the Italian newspaper wrote about a swap deal involving Chelsea striker Morata and AC Milan young Goal Keeper goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
According to CDS, the plan for Milan is to get Alvaro Morata by offering Donnarumma to Chelsea as a direct swap deal. The deal is certainly not impossible as the Spanish striker wants a return to Italy after having a very average first season in England with Chelsea where he struggled to replace the void left by fellow Spaniard Diego Costa, who left Chelsea last summer after having issues with Antonio Conte.
Chelsea goal keeper Thibaut Courtois hasn’t renewed a contract and is open for a move away from the West London club. Also Morata hasn’t settled down well in London, so a move to Italy where he had a good spell with Juventus earlier is a possibility always.
Donnarumma is currently enjoying his vacation as Italy didn’t qualify for the World Cup and he got engaged the other day as well.
